What happens when I run out of credits?
If you use all your monthly credits before your plan renews, you can purchase extra credits. These additional credits will expire at the end of your current subscription cycle.

Can I get a refund?
To request a refund, please contact the App Store directly. App developers do not have access to manage, view, or issue refunds for subscriptions due to Apple’s policy. You can find more information here:

I purchased a subscription that is still valid, but when I open the app it shows me the onboarding and paywall as if I never subscribed. What should I do?

This can sometimes happen if you accidentally deleted the app, restarted your device, or under certain conditions where the app may temporarily not recognize your subscription. Don’t worry, your subscription is still active.

To restore your subscription:

  1. Open HairLook.

  2. Go through the onboarding screens.

  3. When the paywall appears, close it.

  4. Go to Settings > Account > Restore Purchases.

If you have a valid subscription, this will reinstate it immediately, and you’ll be able to continue using HairLook without interruptions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

We’re sorry to see you go! You can cancel your HairLook subscription anytime through your app store:

  • iPhone or iPad (App Store):

    1. Open the Settings app.

    2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top.

    3. Select Subscriptions.

    4. Choose HairLook.

    5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

  • Android (Google Play Store):

    1. Open the Google Play Store app.

    2. Tap your profile icon in the top right.

    3. Go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

    4. Select HairLook.

    5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

 

After canceling, you’ll still have access to HairLook Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

I didn’t like the results of the hair transfer
Our technology is powered by AI, which can occasionally produce imperfect results, such as visual artifacts or slight changes in facial features. We’re continuously working to improve these behaviors! If you’re not satisfied with your results, we recommend trying a different source photo or hairstyle image. Be sure to follow our image tips for the best outcome.

Why do I see visual artifacts or distortions in the result?

AI-generated images may sometimes contain small errors, like blending issues or artifacts, especially if the input image isn't ideal. We recommend using high-quality, well-lit photos with a clear view of the face to reduce these issues.

What kind of photos should I use for the source and hairstyle images?
For both the source and hairstyle images, we recommend a clear, front-facing photo that closely frames the face and hair, ideally showing only the head and shoulders. Make sure the face is fully visible with no obstructions (like hair covering the face), and that only one person appears in the photo.

Will my photos be saved or used for training?

Your privacy is very important to us. Unless you give explicit consent, your photos are never used to train our models. They are securely stored and automatically deleted after processing.

If you would like your account and all associated data (including uploaded photos, generated images, and account identifiers) to be deleted immediately, please:

  1. Open the HairLook app and go to Settings → Account.

  2. Copy your User ID.

  3. Send an email to support@antac.ai with the subject “Delete My Account” and include your User ID.

Once we receive your request, your data will be deleted from our systems within 7 days.

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?

Yes, HairLook requires an internet connection to process hairstyle previews, as the transformations are powered by cloud-based AI models.

Why does it take some time to see my results?

Generating high-quality hairstyle previews using AI can take a couple of minutes, depending on demand and server load. Please be patient, we’re doing our best to deliver fast and beautiful results.

Does HairLook work for men/women/kids?

Yes! HairLook works for all genders and ages. Just make sure the face is clearly visible and meets our image guidelines for the best results. If you're uploading a photo of a child, please ensure you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using HairLook, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to use any image you upload.

Why were my hairstyle photos deleted when I uninstalled the app on Android?
On Android devices, uninstalling an app automatically removes all of its data — including albums and photos saved by the app. This is standard Android behavior and not specific to HairLook.

To avoid losing your hairstyle photos, we recommend:

  • Syncing them to a cloud service (e.g., Google Photos, Dropbox, iCloud).

  • Or copying them to another album outside the HairLook folder before uninstalling.

On iOS devices, the behavior is different: even if you delete the HairLook app, the photo album and your saved styles remain in your Photos library.
